She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Edmonds; her parents, Troy Melton and Lillie Maude Boyd Blackwell; and her siblings, Curtis, Kenneth Wayne Blackwell, Genell Mosley and Gail Burks.
She is survived by: her children, Karry Edmonds (Cindy), Gary Edmonds (Carol) and Melissa McCay (Jeff); her grandchildren, Ben Edmonds (Chelsea), Shannon Edmonds Folsom (Josh), Troy McCay (Darci) and Emily Edmonds; her great grandchildren, Lily Edmonds, Willoughby Folsom and Avery Edmonds; and her sister Maxine Franklin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home (6906 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Nixon Chapel Volunteer Fire Department, 7925 Nixon Chapel Road, Horton, AL 35980.
