We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Martha Anna Shirley (Hope Hull, Alabama), born in Parrish, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Grover Shirley; her parents, Lonnie Alcorn and Leora Alcorn; her sister Ruth Hithcox; her son-in-law Ben George; and her granddaughter Erika George.

She is survived by: her children, James Patrick Shirley (Pam), Christine George, Carol Farr (Charlie) and Cherie Scott; her grandchildren, Patrick Shirley (Skyler), Hannah Shirley Rawlinson (Andrew), Alyson George Usher (Hank), Natalie George Fleming (Adam), Andy Farr and Rachel Farr Krauss (Tim); and her nieces, Renee Lehr and Sharon Hithcox Engle. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Martha's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
