She was predeceased by: her husband Willie B. Messick; her parents, Miles Golden and Florence Stevenson Golden; and her brother Alton Golden. She is survived by: her son Jimmy; her daughter-in-law Carol Messick; her grandchildren, Kimberly O'Connor (Greg), Jimmy Messick Jr. (Vonda) and Wesley Messick (Amber); her great grandchildren, Patrick O'Connor, Austin Messick, Amianne Reid (Raymond), Abigail Harbison (Landon), Clayton Messick and Chase Messick; her great great grandchildren, Raelyn Reid, Raymond Reid V and Charlotte Grace Harbison; and her sister Carolyn Wilson.
