He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edgar Cline and Myrtle Amos Cline; his wife Dorothy Davis Cline; and his siblings, Betty Warren, Jack Cline and Gene Cline.
He is survived by: his children, James L. Cline, Jr. (Linda), Kim (Claudia Cline) and Dana (Jon McCarver); his grandchildren, Jay (Mandy Cline), Dr. Matt (Jamie Cline), Kristy (Josh Brinkley), Dr. J. Kyle (Sarah Cline), Kevin (Heather Cline), Kaitlyn Cline, Dr. Cooper (Brooke Cline), Jordan McCarver and Austin McCarver; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Cline, Hailey Cline, Addison Cline, Ashlyn Cline, McKinley Cline, Evan Cline, Benjamin Cline, Ainsley Cline, Luke Cline, JJ Brinkley, Anniston Cline, Emery Cline and Hannah Cline.
