He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardie McGehee Owen Sr. and Mary Alice Mims Owen. He is survived by: his children, Bud Owen (Melba) of Letohatchee, AL, Lisa Bryant (Bill) of Hope Hull, AL and Missy Phelps (Bryan) of Bryan, Texas; his pet C. J.; his grandchildren, Bubba Owen (Melissa), Michael Owen (Sharon), Dusty Owen (Brenna), Lisa Marie DeAlba (Christian), Brady Phelps (Chloe) and Bailey Phelps; his great grandchildren, Khloe Whiteside of Reid Owen, C. J, Caden DeAlba and Rilen Owen; and his close friend Sharon Helms.
