He is survived by: his wife Betty Mims; and his children, Brenda Wheeler, Edward Mims (Sheila), Debra Greene (Terry), Tammy Sparks (Odies), Sheila Perry (Scott), John Holyfield and Robert Holyfield (Connie). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
