He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Coggins, Sr. and Lucille S. Coggins; and his sister Joyce Shields. He is survived by: his wife Raba; his son Bill; his daughter-in-law Maria; his grandchildren, Adam and Marabelle; and his great grandchild Willow of Tampa. He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was also deeply involved with the local (Dothan) Alzheimer's support group for many years. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to either your local Alzheimer's support organization or Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham, 1901 14th Ave. South, Birmingham, AL 35205.
