It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William George Murray of Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Murray and Edna Murray; his former wife Molly Klinner Murray; and his daughter Cindy Crowder (Tom). He is survived by: his wife Joan Rees Murray; his children, Brenda Stevens (Brian) and Bill Murray Jr. (Amy); his sister Peggy Brett; his grandchildren, Nick Crowder (Elyse), Natalie Monroe (Russell), Carly Murray, Will Murray (Chloe) and Kate Murray; and his great grandchildren, Piper Crowder, Peyton Crowder and Isla Anne Murray.

A reception was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Jimmie Hale Mission or Feeding Alabama.
