He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Yezic Duffin and Walter Duffin; and also Sandra Edison (Truman) of Holiday, Florida.. He is survived by: his wife Carole J. Duffin; his sister Maureen Stowell (Richard); his children, Joseph Duffin (Elainia), Richard Merriam (Kristen), Kelly Cohen (Mike) and Julee Knox (Thomas); his grandchildren, Dylan Duffin, Crossden Duffin, Macee Bahrik (Dalton), Makala Wells (Satcher), Maria Moore (Micah), Adam Cohen (Molisa), Kallee Knox and Luke Merriam; and his great grandchildren, Remi, Radley Bahrik, Jolie, Haven Wells, Adam, Zackary, Sophia and Travis Cohen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walter Joseph Duffin's honor to the American Cancer Society.
