It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Hewett Mullenix of Hoover, Alabama, born in Gordo, Alabama, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Glenda Dunlap; his parents, William Bennie Mullenix and Bertha Beulah Shirley Mullenix; and his siblings, Louis Mullenix and Ruth Skinner.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Kristen Plier (Sean); his great grandchildren, Adeline Alise and Finn Thomas Plier; and also, Debbie Mullenix and Sheryl Childers.
