He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Petras and Athena Petras; his wife Tran Thi Ba Petras of Hóc Môn, Vietnam.; his daughter Kyme Tran; and his granddaughter Misty Mitchell.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Petras (Jane), Athena Clark (Michael), Ellen Petras, Elise Roper (Eric), Thu Meyers (Richard) and Twiggy Hackett; and his grandchildren, Nolan Clark, Preston Clark, Nick Petras, William Petras, Thena Roper, Edward Whitten, Alicia Whitten, Chris Meyers, Thomas Meyers, Joshua Meyers, Elizabeth Meyers, Sarah Meyers and TJ Hackett.
