With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma S. Corbin of Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Thelma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thelma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Jefferson Memorial Chapel (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235).
Memorial donations may be made to Hunter Street Baptist Church.
