She was predeceased by: her parents, Judge Thomas Clark and Elsie Walls Trimble; her husband Marshall Measel; and her siblings, Judge Elsijane Roy, Molly Verser, Thomas Trimble and Walls Trimble.

She is survived by: her sons, John Measel (Kay) of Fayette, Chuck Measel (Pam) of Hoover and Andy Measel (Mary) of Vestavia. She is also survived by four grandsons and one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers gifts may be made to Shades Crest Baptist Church in Hoover.
