With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Steven Wells (Hoover, Alabama), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Steven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Betty Stough Wells; and his brother William Marcus Wells. He is survived by: his wife LaJuana Moore Wells; his sister Lisa Wells Davis (Cliff); and his nieces, Anna Cornelius Roberts (Nate) and Jordan Cornelius Crane (AJ).

Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
