Though Shirley Forman may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley Forman leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her son Rick Powers; her mother Janie Duncan; her stepfather Newman Duncan; and her sister Carolyn Forman Womack. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Abigal Duncan and Brionna Stricklin; her nephew Allen Womack (Terri); and her niece Carol Bajalia (Sammy). She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bluff Park Methodist Church (733 Valley St, Birmingham, AL 35226). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
