She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Dillon Heatherly, John Rollings Dillon (Staci) and Michael Wells Dillon (Linda); her grandchildren, John Cole Dillon, Michael Strickland Dillon (Megan), Austin Scott Dillon, Catherine "Brooke" Heatherly and Joseph "Dillon" Heatherly; her great grandchildren, Joseph Dillon and Benjamin Dillon; her brother Jack Barbour (Kay); and her significant other Vance L. Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in Sandra Dillon's name for Parkinson's Disease research.
