She was predeceased by: her husband John D. Spence; her grandparents, Bertha Arlington Cox Henderson, Andrew McDowell Henderson, Laura Alexander Daniels Reagan and John Daniels; and her parents, Mary Kate Henderson Daniels and Clyde Daniels.
She is survived by: her sons, John Dwight Spence, Jr. (Jan Knight) of Hoover and Scott Lockhart Spence of Tuscaloosa; her grandchildren, Nicholas Spence of Birmingham, Kristen Spence Crain (Steven) of Birmingham and Michael Spence of Birmingham; her husband Europe; and her grandmother Nonny.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
