With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Edward Jones of Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on December 6, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Edward Jones and Amanda Glenn Tollison Jones; and his brother-in-law Bob Finley. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Eddie (Ginger) and Betsy (Donny); his grandchildren, Josh, Abby, Camryn, Connie (Drew), Chris (Ashlyn), Ashley and Angela; his sisters, Frances (Ernie), Carol (Don) and Jane; and his siblings-in-law, Diane and Jimmy (Laurie). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Greater Birmingham Fellowship of Christian Athletes, https://my.fca.org.
