He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Thomas and Patricia Burkett Thomas; his in-laws, James and Becky Patterson; and his brother-in-law Ernie Gooding.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Patterson Thomas of Midfield, Alabama.; his children, Blake Thomas of Hoover, AL, Courtney Thomas Morgan (Bobby) of Hoover, AL and Jillian Thomas Deas (Dale) of Hoover, AL.; his sisters, Cathy Gooding of Gurdon, AR and Lisa Hagan (Anthony) of Diana, TX.; his sister-in-law Jamie Patterson Snider (Alan) of Athens, AL.; and his nieces and nephews, Adam, Ben, Zack Gooding, Ryan Hagan, Andrew Snider, Nicole Osterhout, Ashleigh Hainline, Anna Grace Snider and Amy Beth Snider.
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
