Robert Hilton Cahoon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Robert Hilton Cahoon of Hoover, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Mae Vance Cahoon and John Robert Cahoon; his son-in-law Gene Taylor; his grandson Micheal H. Vaughn; his sisters, Sarah Frances Dearman and Ora Lavone Presley; and his brothers-in-law, Fred T. Trammell and Bobby Trammell.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann "Pan" Trammell Cahoon; his children, Cathy Ann Cahoon Brown (John) of Alabaster, Kimberly Cahoon Taylor Smith (Scott) of Dover, Tennessee, Robert Keith Cahoon (Michele) of Pelham and Kirk Randall Cahoon (Bart Ferguson) of Hoover; his grandchildren, Wesley Brown (Jessica), Andrew Brown (Mary Beth), Christopher Taylor (Georgena), Jason Taylor, Isaac Taylor (Ashley), Aaron Taylor (Katie), Noel Taylor (Emily), Anna Elizabeth Cahoon Reeves (Adam) and Amberlyn Olsen; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Chimento (Duke), Lore Buckland and Judy Ann Trammell. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.

Masks and social distancing will be observed for all services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to Bluff Park United Methodist Church Discretionary Fund.
