Channon Jr. (Mardelle) of St. Petersburg, Mary Beth Channon Howell (Donald) of Alexandria and Carolyn Channon Bennett (Don) of Birmingham, AL; and his grandchildren, David Channon, William, Sarah Howell Gerhardstein (David), Carrie Culwell (Adolfo), Alex and Davis Culwell.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alabama Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
