She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Oliver and Martha Oliver; and her sister Georgann Oliver Veazey. She is survived by: her brother-in-law Tommy Veazey; her nephew Thomas Veazey; and her niece MaryBeth Veazey.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that friends and family make a monetary donation to the Sylacauga Animal Shelter (41 Shelter Lane, Sylacauga, AL 35151).
