It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard L. Mixon of Hoover, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Mixon and Albert Mixon. He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Mixon; his daughters, Rachel Mixon and Melinda Nichols (Elliot); his granddaughter Anna Nichols; and his sister Gail M. Lowery (Robert).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial donations be made in Richard's name to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society http://www.gbhs.org.
