She is survived by: her sisters, Linda Bowen Carter (Jerry) of Tuscaloosa, Vicki Bowen Hill (Roger) of Jasper and Karyn Bowen of Birmingham; her nieces and nephews, Kelly Carter Peevy, Kim Carter Payne, Staci Carter Hannig, Chad, Brandon, Trent Hill, Jeff Carter and Pete Allen; and her close friend Gary Box.
