She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Boggs and Daisy Ivey Boggs; her husband Charles Hugh Godfrey; and her son David Hugh Godfrey. She is survived by: her son Dr. Joseph Charles; her daughters-in-law, Joy Chastain Godfrey of Birmingham and Kathy Weaver Godfrey of Cincinnati, Ohio.; and her grandchildren, Neil Godfrey, Brent Godfrey, Rebekah Godfrey Ussery and Elizabeth Godfrey Ford. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
