It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret C. Gornati of Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudia Hanebrink and John Hanebrink of St Louis, MO; her siblings, Elizabeth Hanebrink (Betty), Fran Hanebrink and Joe Hanebrink (Teddy); her daughter-in-law Michelle Gornati; and her nephew Tommy Hanebrink.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Gornati of Hoover, AL; her children, Gary Gornati (Sandi), Scott Gornati, Robyn Reeder and Traci Cooper; her brother Jack Hanebrink (JoAnn); and her grandchildren, Mark Naugle (Rachel), Brian Naugle (Leeza), Nicholas Kumpee, Tyler Kumpee, Marti Gornati, Randy Reeder and Michael Reeder. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be sent to St. Peter's the Apostle Catholic Church Human Concerns Committee.
