We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2024, Leasi Carranza Crookshank (Hoover, Alabama), born in Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Merrill Crookshank; her son Kurt Rhoe Carlyle Carranza; her parents, Robert Stevens and Gertrude Stevens Johnson; and her siblings, Marshall Eugene Fox, Jr., Tommy Stevens, Billy Stevens, Eddie Stevens, Carolyn Knatcal Weissman, Mary Van Lieu and Cathy Howard.
She is survived by: her daughter Ramona Leasi Carranza Cunningham (James Emory); her grandsons, James Cunningham and David Cunningham; her siblings, Roberta Hagaman, Terry Stevens, Sr., Samuel Stevens and Sonya Fay Stevens; and her pets, Joey and Skeeter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
