He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Nell Harper Kendrick (Billie); his parents, Lawrence Kendrick and Lexie Mae Kendrick; and his sister Ann Dawkins of Maylene. He is survived by: his son John Kendrick (Leslie); his grandsons, David and Andrew of Ellicott City; his daughter Melissa Kendrick of Raleigh; his sister Edith Mae Preston of Helena; his nephew Tony Preston; and his niece Marth Waugh. He is also survived by other nephews and nieces.
