He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred, Leona Merriam (Vallier), T. O. and Mildred Sumrall (Barker). He is survived by: his parents, Glenn Merriam and Esther Merriam; his sisters, Edie Irvin (Lemond) and Suzette Foster (Keith); his nieces and nephews, Andrea Singleton (Brad), Will Irvin, Merriam Mock and J. T. Foster; and his great-nephew Wilder Singleton. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
