He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norvel McKay and Pearl McKay; his siblings, Viva Owens, George and John McKay; his wife Kathy Cope McKay; his sister Sherrie McKay Evans; and his grandchildren, Joseph McKay, III (Josh), Jennifer and Joseph McKay IV. He was also cherished by his four sons.
