We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2020, at the age of 87, Jon Royster Fort of Hoover, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Fort and Louise Fort; and his siblings, Emmett Douglas, Jr., Francis, Martha Ann and Alma.

He is survived by: his wife Neysa; his sister Sandra; his sons, Scott (Kim), David (Kathy) and Andrew (Beth); his grandchildren, Michael (Anna Catherine), Sara, Chris, Daniel, Mary Kathryn, Ashley, Caroline, Jason, Thomas and Sam; and his great grandchild John Nixon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Green Valley Baptist Church in Hoover, Alabama (http://www.gvbc.org) or a charity of your choice in his memory.
