He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick B. Tschudin and Winefred Kirkland. He is survived by: his wife Pat Point; his son John Jr. (Ashley); his granddaughters, Sophie and Ella; and his sisters, Cindy Julian and Melanie Marshall (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244).
