He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Gray Patton and Emmett Patton; and his sister Barbara Patton. He is survived by: his wife Joan R. Patton; his daughters, Dee Ann Powers (Steve Powers) and Melinda King (Brian King); and his granddaughters, Leslie Davis (Terry Davis) and Lindsey King.
