He was predeceased by: his parents, JT Dabbs and Norma Ellen Dabbs; and his sister Jane Ellen Dabbs. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Sablich Dabbs; his children, Kristie Dabbs Stewart (David) and Joseph Vann Dabbs (Amanda); his grandchildren, Carter Dabbs, Clark Stewart, Caroline Dabbs, Grace Stewart and Charlie Dabbs; his siblings, Kathy Dabbs Curry (JR), John Dabbs (Linda) and Tom Dabbs (Helen); and his mother-in-law Lillian Sablich Jenkins.

In lieu of flowers the family of Mr. Dabbs suggest that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
