He was predeceased by: his parents, James Malcolm Rice and Mattie Louise Shaw; and his wife Karyl J Rice. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda and Janice; his children, Karlyn McCombs (Danny) and Chris (Allison); and his granddaughters, Emma Kate and Abigail.
