He is survived by: his spouse Julia Hackney Murphree; his children, Robin Murphree (Pam) of Birmingham and Michelle Huffer (Doyle) of Winchester, TN; his grandchildren, Emily Huffer, Parker Huffer of Winchester, TN, Daniel Murphree and Matthew Murphree of Birmingham; and his sisters-in-law, Reba Morrow (James) of Lincoln and Carolyn Patty Murphree of Anniston.
