He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C. Herron and Adine Smith Herron (Betty Wood Herron); and his son James L Herron. He is survived by: his siblings, H. Clark Herron and Margaret Bish; his sister-in-law Alice Griffin; his daughter Emily H. McFall; and his grandchildren, Austin, Elizabeth and Matthew.
