He is survived by: his wife Jane Segars Landers; his sons, James, Jr. of Birmingham, Luke (Ann) of Dothan and Joseph (Diane) of Montevallo; his grandchildren, Ellis, Margaret, Caroline and William Landers; and his nephew Richard Stallworth.
