She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry B. Dillard; and her parents, James L. Veach and Ruth Davis Veach. She is survived by: her son Eric Nelson (Brian Bland); her aunt Agnes Wiedemeyer; her siblings-in-law, Larry Dillard and Guynelle Bird; her nieces and nephews, Susan Phillips (David), Leslie Henson (Scott), Chip Dillard (Cindy), Clint Dillard (Amy) and Guy Oliver (Lisa); and also Hall of Fame. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Schnauzer Love Rescue or your favorite charity.
