He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nix and Evelyn Nix; his granddaughter Magen Nix; and his niece Rhonda Self. He is survived by: his sons, Jack Nix, Jr. of Denver, CO and William Nix of Shelby County, AL; his sisters, Sylvia Nix Tullos of Madison, MS and Nita Nix Yarbrough (Russell) of Hoover, AL; the mother of his children Patricia Roberts Nix; and his granddaughters, Briana, Riley and Reagan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
