She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Alvis Mahan and Rosa Belle Morrow Mahan; her husband Malcolm Champion; and her siblings, Ada Mahan, Iona Champion, Audrey Krotzer, Alvis Mahan, Jr. (Bud), Ralph Mahan, Cliff Mahan and Lloyd Mahan.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Miles (Ray Bouldin) of Pittsboro, NC, Susan Culberson (Cliff) of Sterrett, AL and Malcolm David Champion (Carol) of Oak Grove, AL.; her grandchildren, Kevin Miles (Woodson) of Atlanta, GA, Kari MacLean (Andrew) of Pittsboro, NC, Megan Ingram (Brian) of Weaver, AL, Kaitlin Brownson (Cody) of Alabaster, AL and Kelsea Gulsby of Sterrett, AL; and her great grandchildren, Miles MacLean of Chapel Hill, NC, Eloise MacLean of Chapel Hill, NC, Fisher MacLean of Pittsboro, NC and Malcolm MacLean of Pittsboro, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
