It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Lucas (Hoover, Alabama), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Howard Lucas to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Dennis Lucas, Sr. and Agnes Eiland Lucas; and his brothers, Lee D. Lucas, Jr. and Frank Edward Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Zenoba Lucas; his sons, David Lucas (Anne), Darell Lucas (Dale), Roger Lucas (Patty) and Scott Lucas; his grandchildren, Brian Lucas (April), Lee Lucas (Serena), Matt Lucas (Christi), Heath Lucas, Andrew Lucas (Amy) and Christopher Lucas; and his brother Jerry Lucas (Andrea). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19, a private burial will take place at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
