It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Parkman Land of Hoover, Alabama, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Parkman Land to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Cannon and Joseph Brown Parkman; her husband James Edward Land; and her daughter Linda Alice Land. She is survived by: her children, Judy West (Gary) of Huntsville and Ed Land (Allyson) of Decatur, Alabama. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the First Baptist Church of Hoover, or Hoover Public Library.
