He was predeceased by: his parents, Hadden Bass Smith Jr. and Inez Thompson Smith; and his siblings, Betty Smith Neel and Dave Callahan. He is survived by: his wife Karen Keracher Smith; his children, Hadden BassSmith IV (Jennifer), Kerstin Smith Lynch and Jessica Smith Crain (Matt); his grandchildren, Hadden Bass Smith V and Katelyn Cooper Smith; and his brothers-in-law, David Neel and Mike Keracher (Jan). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Briarwood Christian School Fine Arts Department.
