We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2019, at the age of 88, Gordon Jones (Hoover, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlsie Jones and Edwin Jones; and his siblings, Rayford Jones, Mary Turner and Ginny Giles.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jones; his children, Doug Jones (Louise) and Terrie Savage (Scott); his grandchildren, Courtney Andrews (Rip), Carson Jones and Christopher Jones; his stepgranddaughter Jessica Savage; and his great grandchildren, Ever and Ollie Andrews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
For those family and friends who wish to make a charitable contribution in lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials can be made to the charity of one's choice.
