With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glinda Sanders Smith of Hoover, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on August 6, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Horace Sanders and Wynelle McCutcheon Sanders. She is survived by: her husband Philip Ross Smith, Jr.; her daughters, Susan Smith Shaw and Taffi Smith Stewart; her son-in-law Stanley Gene Shaw; her grandsons, Zachary Stanton Shaw, Joseph Maxwell Stewart and James Griffin Stewart; her sister Martha Willene Allen; and her nephews, Ralph Allen and Jeff Allen.
