Geneva D. Adams Obituary
Mrs. Geneva Deaver Adams, 89, of Azalea Drive, Hartwell, formerly of Homewood AL, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Born on December 31, 1928 in Cleveland AL, she was the daughter of the late George C. Deaver and Alpha Holt Deaver. She was formerly employed at TCI and was retired from Parisian Department Stores. Survivors include her daughter: Cindy Smith and her husband Bob of Hartwell; a son: Joey Adams of Hoover AL; two grandchildren: Heather Adams and Patrick Adams and a sister-in-law: Jackie Deaver of Pinson AL.
A funeral mass celebrating Geneva's life will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Homewood AL with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery. The body will be taken to the Ridout Valley Chapel Funeral Home, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood AL, where the family will receive friends Friday evening at the funeral home.
