It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Joe Grimes of Hoover, Alabama, born in Canal Winchester, Ohio, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norma Marie Good Grimes and Joseph "Joe" Elmer Grimes, Jr.; his wife Sharon Jo Hanson Grimes of Madison; his son Dr. David Grimes (Sunny Knott); his grandchildren, Nika and Atlas; his daughter Dr. Jennifer Craig (Mark); and his granddaughters, Abigail and Bethany.
