He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank R. Kolb, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Myrick Kolb. He is survived by: his wife Kay Bankston Kolb; his grandchildren, Savannah Kathryn, Carson Forrester, Kyle Bankston Kolb (Carrie Cagle Kolb), Lilli Ann, Ila Kate and Ivan Blake Kolb; and his son James Hendry. He is also survived by his grandsons and granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Riverchase Church of Christ Live Wires in his memory.
