He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scott and Hettie Scott; his siblings, Frances Lawley, Emma Lou Scott, James Earl Scott, Buddy Scott, Royal Scott and Douglas Scott; and his grandson Michael Edward Fallin.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Scott; his children, Earnest G. Scott, Jr., William Scott, Cheryl Estes, Sharon K. Fallin and Christopher Scott; and his sister Betty Sue Lockhart.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
